Class Description:
Yoga Therapy is a deeply integrative, body-centered approach that supports healing on all levels, physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Rooted in the principle that your body already knows how to heal itself, this work helps remove the barriers to natural energy flow, allowing you to reconnect with the wisdom and wholeness that’s already within you.
Unlike traditional yoga, this practice isn’t about doing more, it’s about coming home to yourself, softly and with compassion. There’s nothing to fix, no effort to make, just space to be with what’s true. From this space of presence, profound healing and transformation can occur.
I studied Yoga Therapy with Kamini Desai, and it’s a practice I deeply love sharing. While the word “therapy” might sound serious, this class is all about deep rest, release, and renewal. Simply come with an open mind and experience it.
Yoga Therapy helps release energy blocks in the body, whether mental, emotional, or physical. By addressing tension at its root, it creates space for your body’s natural healing intelligence to emerge.
A deeply soothing journey combining the healing principles of Yoga Therapy with the vibrational medicine of sound.
Through gentle reclined postures on the floor and at the wall, supported by props, mindful breath, and guided awareness, you’ll create space for energy to flow freely. Softening areas of tension and restoring balance on every level: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.
The sound bath offers a subtle layer of nourishment, soft, harmonious tones that support relaxation and integration as you rest deeply in stillness. The sound simply becomes another tool for healing, complementing the inner work of Yoga Therapy.
