The Journey of Self-Inquiry
Welcome dear one, my name is Dimitra Cerriku.
I spent much of my early school years daydreaming and contemplating deeper questions.
I believe that once we begin to ask ourselves fundamental questions like Who am I?
Where have I come from? What am I meant to do here? We've already embarked on the journey of self-inquiry. This inner exploration helps us discover our true nature and purpose in life.
Through my yoga practice and self-reflection, I’ve integrated these early musings into my teaching and sharing.

From Darkness to Light
The Healing Power of Yoga
My yoga journey began during a dark phase of my life. However, from the moment I stepped on my mat, I felt a deep sense of homecoming. Yoga became a transformative tool, like a therapy, allowing me to heal, connect, and understand life in a profound way.
It taught me that real happiness is cultivated from within.
After my first trip to India, I immersed myself deeper, into the yoga philosophy. I discovered that yoga is about paying attention. The connection between dhyāna (meditation) and āsana (postures) is a brilliant methodology. The physical practice of āsana trains the mind in concentration, preparing it for deeper meditation. This journey takes us from dark, limited levels of awareness to increasingly subtle levels of inner perception.
Integrating Spirituality and Practice Through Yoga
I have been practicing yoga for over a decade, and my teaching style reflects the wisdom and depth gained through years of exploration and dedication. It has been shaped by traditional Hatha Yoga, the dynamic and static energy of Ashtanga Vinyasa and the alignment principles of Iyengar.
In addition, I incorporate mantra chanting and sound healing, offering a holistic and transformative experience that nurtures the connection between body, mind, and soul. My approach weaves together alignment, mindfulness, and vibrational energy to create a practice that is both grounding and up lifting.
I teach from personal experience and observation, with my self practice serving as my most profound source of insight and inspiration.
